Dear Sir:

The teacher who had your school last year reported quite a large number of pupils, and we do not understand why you have failed in this respect. You should have reported the fact of your having but eight pupils long before this, and we might have sent you to another place, where the people take some interest in the education of their children. You could not expect to be paid a salary
