I sent you a register and some Blank reports last week.  You must keep a daily record of your school on the Register, and on the last day of every month, make up one of the Blank reports and mail it to me and send one to [[underlined]] Mrs. Lowell. [[/underlined]]  Fill out all the questions you can answer.  Make out reports for the time you have been teaching up to 1st of February and send it to me as soon as you get this.

here I am sorry for I counted on her taking the [[underlined]] Birdsville School. [[/underlined]]  I want to send Miss [[underlined]] Laura H. Iredell [[/underlined]] to [[underlined]] Fredericksburg [[/underlined]] under your commission.  She is highly recommended, and I have had an interview with her.  She is in this City and will go to [[underlined]] F.– [[/underlined]] so as to open school next Monday morning in the new school house there.  We dont as a general thing furnish the articles you name, but will receive applications and where no other aid has been given by us.  I hope to fill up your complement of teachers in a few days.
