Dear Sir:

Yours of the 1st inst is received. I had found by referring to your former of the 4th ult. that the list sent the other day did not contain all the information desired, and I had the enclosed (which a fully report from all your teachers for January) partly made out when your last was received, and was intending to forward it to you today.

Very Respectfully Yours
Clerk

Dear Sir:

About the school at Oakville. There never was any lot deeded to school trustees. We cant help them to rebuild till they get a regular deed of the land. when they do that we will let them have the lumber. See to it at once. You did not tell me what the desks at Owensville could be bought

Dear Sir:

I will make inquiry about the desks. Swan wrote me yesterday that he had collected $135 on that book bill and would get the balance. He did not say whether had had sent it to [[underlined]] Cushings and Bailey. Gainney [[/underlined]] sent me a report for January which I returned for correction since which time I have not heard from him. He seems to want to have his own way wich is not by any means the best one.

Yours truly
Bvt. Major and Supt. Ed.

Dear Sir:

Yours of the 28th is received. You must tell the trustees of the school that if the board is not paid at once the school will be closed. The only way we send teachers is by having the board paid by the school. The trustees must attend to it at once. If they cannot raise the money we can easily send you to a school where they will. Call the trustees together, read this letter to
