[[/underlined]] North Shore, N.Y. Madam: Mr. A. F. Hill has just reported from Salem, where he is about to open school. His address is Centerville, care Geo. E. Adams. I enclose the bill of expenses. The carriage hire was marked by me as I think it an unnecessary item. Some of four teachers have purchased books of Messrs Cushings & Bailey, Baltimore for which the firm holds me responsible. I will send you these bills before the end of the month, and if you will please deduct these bills from their salaries and send me a check for the amount I will see the account settled.
