Dear Sir:

I have written [[underlined]] Swan [[/underlined]] and as soon as I hear from him will write to settle up his accounts. He has probably money enough on hand now to pay Cushing and Bailey.

Yours Respectfully

Dear Sir:

I send you herewith teacher's pay account for February. Four teachers next to the last named on this rool, opened school in January but their names were omitted on the roll for last month because their reports were delayed. Somers who went to Dames Quarter and who is now reported to be at Fourkstown, has not yet reported and his name is not included herein. Two teacher's names were accidentally omitted from the list sent you the other day viz: [[underlined]] Annie L. Jenkins [[/underlined]] at Milestown, and [[underlined]] Josephine Gloucester [[/underlined]] assistant at Elkton, making forty six (46) total.

Very Respectfully Yours

Madam:

Mr. A. F. Hill has just reported from Salem, where he is about to open school. His address is Centerville, care Geo. E. Adams. I enclose the bill of expenses. The carriage hire was marked by me as I think it an unnecessary item.

Some of four teachers have purchased books of Messrs Cushings & Bailey, Baltimore for which the firm holds me responsible. I will send you these bills before the end of the month, and if you will please deduct these bills from their salaries and send me a check for the amount I will see the account settled.

Very Respectfully Yours
