Dear Sir,

Yours of the 15th inst requesting, in behalf of the colored people of Hall's Creek, that a teacher be sent to that place, is at hand.

It is so late in the season that I fear we shall not be able to send out any more teachers before next fall. If the people apply for one then, and can furnish good school accommodations, and will get up a school of thirty or more pupils who will attend every day, I will try to send them a teacher whose salary will be paid, but I shall expect them to pay her board and the incidental expenses of the school.

Very Respectfully, Yours

Miss,

Yours received. I have not heard from Mr. Price yet, and dont know whether he intends to take the school at Pisgah or not; but you can ascertain by calling at his residence No. 68 Broad St. Philadelphia, and if he is not going I would like to have you take the school. Please write me what you conclude upon.
