Dear Sir
I hope you will excuse me for not acknowledging the receipt of your
very valuable gift sooner. The gloves and often things Come to hand in due season. and we are making a good use of them. I shall give away as you directed and will give you a report of the same when I have done. I have placed the rest in our Free Library in Charge of Mrs Johnson. the best place we have for the sale of such things.
It is central being on the Cor of 5" & E St near the City Hall. And I have advertised the same in various ways. I sent you a paper a few days ago noticing your kind gift. Please accept the thanks of our Teachers for this help so necessary & timely
