I thought all proper steps had been taken & that now there would certainly be a school house erected at Upper Marlboro. I believe the people there understand that the Building is for a school but may be used for a church ^[[also]] until they are able to erect one. I am sure there is great need for a school in that place. I have the honor to be Your obt servant John Kimball Supt of Schools.
