Friend Gregory.
I have talked with Gnl Howard about your plans for next year, & I think we are both opposed to your using the lower room for lodging. We think it will be needed & should be used for a school. About the up stairs, we can tell better when your school opens. Gnl H. said something about your student using a part of the Dr Tanny building, but there is nothing certain about that. I do not hardly think Dr T will continue there another year. In fact we do not know what will become of the Bureau.
The Phil' Friends are still wanting to sell the Building, & I think you can buy it for less than what it is worth, & that it would be a good thing for you. I wish I knew a good house for you & wife but I do not. I shall be glad to help you in your good work, all in my power, and am very glad you are coming back.
Very respectfully Yours
John Kimball
Supt of Schools.
