Jackman Cooper Esq,

Dear Sir,

Maj Brown will send you $190.00 immediately, for the carpenters. He cannot pay for the stove. If you had laid out $10.00 more on the house he would have paid it.

How long a school will you have. Will you pay the Board & other expenses of a teacher, if we will send you a teacher with salary paid. Will you also pay for fuel & lights, if a night school is held.

Can you board a white teacher, or would a colored be best. Please answer immediately.

Very respectfully yrs
