Washington DC.
Nov 30th 1867.

Rev J Wesley Eddy.

I send you transportation to your field of labor. You can come via from Baltimore toward Washington as far as Laurel Station on R.R.: from there you will go by stage to Olney, (I think there is a stage from there, the RR conductor can tell you, or if there is a better way. You will board with Mr Chas H Brooke, a Quaker gentleman. If you will like to come on to Washington, I shall be glad to see you before you go to your field. Washington is but a short distance from Laurel, it will not cost you much. I cannot get a place for your friend now but I think it can be arranged so that he will be near you very soon after you come on. He had best not come on [[Nov 5?]].

Very resp yours
John Kimball
Supt of Schools
