Your name & letter were given me by J M Langston, Esq.  Would you be willing to teach a colored school in the Country in Maryland, some thirty or forty miles from Washington, board in a white family (union) which the colored people will pay, at no very great distance from the School House which is a pretty good one, new this season. School of some 40 scholars, with a night school as large as you would like if you had courage to undertake it.  Salary $20.00 per month beside board, & Gov't transportation to your field of labor, for six months duty. Please reply if you would like this.
