April 7th

Mr. Danl. W. Fry
Chaptico. Md.

Dear Sir:
Yours of the 31st inst. is at hand. I am sorry to learn that the people do not provide for your comfort, for I want your school continued untill the first of July. Please state the case to the trustees and tell them from me, that unless they make suitable provision for your board I shall not send them another teacher. You must try to get them interested and urge them to do what is right. I hope you will remain, but if you are obliged to leave I can send you to the school at Solomon's Island. You can reach it by taking a Steamer at any of the landings on the Patuxent River. Report to Capt.
