Your letter of 2" is received, and I will answer such parts of it as seem to require answering. Mr. Colbourne is [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] an Agent of this Bureau, but is acting for me in this matter. Being a [[underlined]] gentleman [[/underlined]] of means and position in the community and a perfectly [[underlined]] reliable man [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] republican [[/underlined]] as [[underlined]] I [[/underlined]] know him to be, I can place every confidence in his representations.
