Mrs. Lowell, secretary of the N.Y. Branch F. U. Com., informs me that Miss C. L. York, (teacher at Great Mills, Md.) has been transferred to your society, and that she has sent you a book-bill against Miss York of $5 00/, whcih I had forwarded for payment.

I write to notify you that Miss York has paid this bill, and the amount is therefore not to be deducted from her salary.
