Will you please furnish me at your earliest convenience replies to the following questions, for the information of the General Superintendent:

1st Name and location of the Schools (for freedmen) in West Va. intended to be High or Normal Schools, Colleges or Universities.

2nd By whom Supported —

3rd Number of buildings, Material of which constructed, dimensions.

4th No of pupils and teachers

5th Purchase [[guess?]] of buildings and lands.

6th The best Statistics you can furnish of the Primary and Intermediate Colored Schools in the State.
