19^[[60]] ^[[Usual day.  Fed pigeons during walk.  My favorite ones were not there.  Getting colder again.  Will have to put on heavy underwear again if it stays cold.  Potatoes [[strikethrough]] ordered [[/strikethrough]] ^[[Received]] goods from shop.  also ordered bread which is much better than bread we receive for meals.  Doesn't cost much.]]

19^[[60]] ^[[Cooler this morning.  Hasn't snowed to amount to anything this month.  White pigeon showed up during walk but one with speckled head did not.  Made 220 envelopes this morning.  Took a nap in the afternoon.  Finished first vol. Anna Karenina.  Potatoes as usual.]]
