19^[[60]] ^[[Finished Anna Karenina today.  Liked it very much.  During walk threw a few snowballs at a can in the courtyard.  Fed the pigeons etc.  Ate bread and jelly for breakfast because I dislike millet.  Pancake for supper ate them with jelly which was bought here.]]

19^[[60]] ^[[Dad's birthday.  Started reading a volumn of Selected Works of M. Gorky.  Consists of short stories and three plays.  Stories are good.  Only took one walk this morning and took a nap this afternoon  also made envelopes.  Had potatoes for supper.  My cellmate received a package from home with meat which we ate with the potatoes.  Coffee almost gone.]]
