19^[[61]] ^[[Received two letters, one from Mom with a letter from McAfee and one from Mike Spaight an old air force friend from flying school also a card from Billie Mays who sounds very familiar but who I can't place. Tomorrow - the day of Kennedy's speech. I won't find out about it until 21st, 22nd,or 23rd.  My fate depends on what he says. I hope it is in my favor. I certainly would like to be home soon. Even if it were favorable it would probably be several very long weeks before I would be released.  Potatoes.]]

He can certainly do me much good if he only [[circled]] sincerely  [[/circled]] tries to lessen tension and take a mature policy toward world peace and better relations between countries with different system. A little warmer today about -15[[degree symbol]] C. Potatoes or cabbage for supper - did without.]]
