Allow me to ask yr special attention to the quality of the pork, as some of that rect. from Norleans was of inferior quality.
Consign to [[?]] Tampa Bay Fla. as usual unless the [[?]]. Should be shipping direct to Ft. Myers in which case forward to Ft. Myer.

When the state of the supplies will permit, you will issue to the troops anti-scorbutics, at any rate not exceeding the following viz
21 Bbs onions } pe. mo: to one comp [[guess]]
4 Bbs potatos }
2 @ 3 Bbs dried fruit   }  [[?]]
and molasses sufficient }
and occasional issue of krout or pickle - [[underkubed]] Le pa 1112 suh. Ref. for extra issues generally [/underlined]].
The [[underlined]] maximum [/underlined]] issues will only be made when there is no fresh beef to be procured.
On May 15. 1850 a Circular from this office directed that [[?]] will no longer be issued as part of the rations to teamsters, laborers, other employees of the staff Depts. of the army. [[?]] is still in force
I send you a caps of the Regulations [[?]] Dept.
