In my reqn. of the 19th I required (by the Fashion) 16 Bbl Potatos

By the following trip of the steamer - say any time after Dec 15 please forward
   20 Bbl Potatoes
       and continue to send from 21 to 28 Bbl Potatoes a month while they are sound.

Sir U recd, yr. monthly reports for Sept. Oct. & Nov, but you have not noted the daily issues since the reduction of the garrison of your post

You will overhaul your stores, and leave at Ft Capion only 4 mos: supply of all perishable articles as Ham Pork Beans Dried Fruit etc etc.  The other perishable stores you will ship to Savannah and if these be not a sufficiency of any article to supply the future garrison make a reqn on Savannah for them.

Should you be relieved as ACS at Ft Capion please to turn over to yr successor all instructs & Circ?

Please also to report what arrangements you have made or can make for fresh beef

I gave yr recpts. for $600= to Bt Maj A.C. Meyer A.A.C.U. and, in his presence, destroyed yr recpts to me for same amt: of such funds

For extra issues generally see par 1112 sub Ref substituting "2 qts" for "1 pt." Molasse to 100 rations

Here, in Fla:, issue extras not to exceed say

2 Bbl. onions                  }per mo. p. co.
2 -[[ditto for Bbls.]] Potatoes} 
or
2@3 Bbl dried fruit }  [[good?]]
& molasse sufficient}
and occasional issues of krout or pickles.

The [[underlined]]maximum[[/underlined]] issues when there is little or no fresh beef  Candle will not be issued, as part of the rations to teamsters, laborers & the other employees of staff Depts.
