[[strikethru]]From[[/strikethru]] Dr. [[double underline]]Wm. L. Ralph[[/double underline]], ^[[(]] 26 Court St., Utica, NY, ^[[)]] [[strikethru]]a[[/strikethru]]^[[A]] magnificent collection, consisting of four hundred and forty-four (444) sets of eggs, representing one hundred and ninety-four (194) species and one thousand six hundred and thirty (1630) specimens. Among these are several species new to the collection; many others are very rare and have been especial desiderata for years and all are beautifully prepared. Accompanying these eggs are one hundred (100) nests also in an excellent state of preservation. This collection is by far the most valuable gift received, since I have been in charge of the department.
