Four (4) sets, eight (8) specimens.

Deposited by Mr. A. W. Anthony, San Diego, Cal.,
Ten (10) sets, thirty-seven (37) specimens.

In addition to these donations, one hundred and eleven (111) specimens, representing twenty-two (22) species, were purchased during the year.

The receipts of foreign eggs, received during the same period, were twenty-seven (27) representing eighty-nine (89) specimens, and 16 nests.

The character of the routine work has been as follows:-

Recording, marking, measuring and arranging specimens received during the year and placing them in their proper order.

^During the year Vol.1 of Life H. of N.a.B. has been published as Sp. B. 1 of the N.M.

No special researches were made during the year.
