5.14.70 46 * | Adams, Geo. E. | Centreville, Queen Anne Co. Md. May 12th 1870. Invites the Supt to be present at a Republican Celebration at Centreville on 26th inst.

5.19.70. 47 | Association, Amer. Missy Rev. E. P. Smith Field Agent. E. B. #277 Vol. 1. 1870. | New York City. May 12th 1870. Forwards supplementary schedule and rental account for schools at Lexington and Martinsburg for quarter ending June 30th 1869. States that these schools were under Rev. [[underlined]] N. C. Brackett [[/underlined]] and that the rental for them has not been paid. and that he forwards it directly being informed that the Superintendency of West Virginia was discontinued.

6.7.70 51 * | Adams Geo. E. | Centreville. Queen Anne Co. Md. June 6th 1870. States that Mr. [[underlined]] H. Davis [[/underlined]] has reported, and will open school at Spanish Neck on the 8th inst.

6.7.70. 52 * | Armstrong, Y. B. | Port Deposit, Cecil Co. Md. June 4th 1870 Encloses five bills for material used in construction of School house at Darlington, amounting to $243.93/100 which the freedmen still owe. Requests to have bills returned.

6.17.70 58 * | Anderson, Mary. Teacher | Pisgah, Charles Co. Md. June 6th 1870. States that her school is in a prosperous condition: that the people have raised sufficient money to complete the school house. Wishes to remain in charge of the school if the Bureau will allow her a small sum to pay incidental expenses.

6.23.70 54 * | Adams, George E. | Centerville, Queen Anne Co. Md. June 21st 1870. States that they are in want of the money promised by the Bureau to aid in building school house.
