4,18,'70 #94 * | Bruce Isaac  President | Ellicott City, Md.  April 6th 1870.  Asks aid in maintaining their school: states that they are very poor and unable to support it.

4,14,'70 #95 * | Butler John H.  Agent. | Baltimore, Md.  April 12th 1870  States that he has seen several persons from Pisgah who endorse the statement he made relative to their teacher. 

4,26,'70 #96 * | Butler John H.  Agent. | Darnestown, Montgomery Co., Md.  April 23d 1870.  States that he addressed a large school meeting at this place:  that the people promised to plaster the school house, and want a teacher this summer.

4,26,'70 #97 * | Butler John H.  Agent. | Rockville, Montgomery Co., Md.  April 25th 1870.  States that the school here is in a prosperous condition notwithstanding the opposition of many of the col'd peole:  that school house is the best in the County.

4,26,'70 #98 * | Bond, Mattie  Teacher | Rockville, Montgomery Co., Md.  April 23d 1870.  States that many of her older pupils are leaving, but young children are coming in to fill their places.

4,26,'70 #99 * | Butler John H.  Agent. | Damascus, Montgomery Co., Md.  April 19th 1870.  States that school at this place is quite small at present owing to the fact that the older pupils have been called out to work, but the teacher expects their places to be filled by smaller children:  that the trustees promise to plaster the house and furnish desks during vacation.
