Bevans [[/underlined]] as his salary in full to March 23d.  Requests the Supt. to sign the enclosed as his (Corson's) voucher.

Adams [[/underlined]] (teacher) arrived at Philadelphia the other day and had lost his trunk in which was his check for his salary for April.  Requests that payment of check may be stopped.

Inquires if it would be well to employ him.
