6.15.70. | 92 * Clarke, Evelina T.  Teacher | Patuxent, Anne Arundel Co. Md.  June 13th 1870.  Has received check in payment of her salary for May but none for the month of April.  Applies for books.

5.17.70. | 93 * Commission. N.Y. Branch F.U.  Mrs. C.R. Lowell Secretary &c. | West Brighton, N.Y.  May 14th 1870.  Thinks it would be well to pay teachers of the N.E. Branch directly and direct them to notify the society to deduct book bills &c from their salaries.  States that the N.E. Branch will not apply for rental and that her society prefers not to apply for N.E. Societies teachers.  Does not approve of having a teacher sent to Barnesville in place of the one withdrawn by them &c. &c. &c.

States in reply that she is obliged to the Supt. for agreeing to her proposal in regard to paying teachers rental, but as some of the members of the society might object to it, she would prefer to let the matter rest.

6.23.70 | 95 * Collins John W.  Teacher. | Upper Trappe, Wicomico Co. Md.  June 20th 1870.  Returns voucher for rental, signed by one of the trustees.  States that he taught from December 1st/69, to June 1st/70, and has been paid his salary in full by the society.

6.24.70 | 96 * Clark, Evelina T.  Teacher | Patuxent, Anne Arundel Co. Md.  June 19th 1870.  Received letter of the 18th inst. but has not received the one of the 14th ult. containing check.  States that she is about to start for home, and that her address is 1127 Rodmond St. Philadelphia, Pa.

6.26.70 | 97. * Cajoy, John  Teacher | Leonardtown, St. Marys Co. Md.  June 24th 1870.  States in reply that Supt. can come to Leonardtown per steamer, which starts from Washington at 6 A.M. Wednesdays, and should at Gough's Wharf, where he proposes to meet the Supt. with a carriage on on the 6th prox.

6.30.70 | 98 * Commission N.Y. Branch F.U.  Mrs. C.R. Lowell, Secretary | West New Brighton, N.Y.  June 28th 1870.   Regrets that vouchers for rental were sent to schools sustained by her society, and requests that they be not used.
