2, 12, '70 # 1 * | Earle David, Esq. E.B. 255 Vol 1, 70 | Sunderlandville, Calvert Co., Md. February 9th, 1870 States that the people in that vicinity are in need of a school building; there are about 40 families and 50 children who can attend school &c. States that they have purchased the land and deeded it to Trustees &c.

4, 20, '70. #2 * | Earl David | Sunderlandville, Calvert Co., Md. April - 1870. States that he the Supts office and called at, to see if aid could be granted in buildings a school house near Sunderlandsville. Inquires if aid can be furnished, and requests to have the paper he left at the office returned. 

5.13.70. | 3 Earle, David * | Sunderlandville, Calvert County Md. May 11th 1870 Forwards deed of school lot, and requests aid in behalf of the people, for building school house 

6.20.70. | 4 Evins, James Pastor * | Upper Marlboro'. Md. June 16th 1870. States in behalf of the trustees, that their school has been very prosperous the present term, notwithstanding some opposition. Requests that their present teacher, Miss [[underlined]] Doublas, [[/underlined]] may be sent back next fall.
