States in reply that the work on the school house is progressing and thinks it will be completed by the first of September: that they are delayed for want of money: that the lumber bill will be due in one month &c &c

7.5.70. | 30 * Harrison, Chas. A. Teacher. | Centreville, Queen Anne Co. Md. June 25th 1870. Acknowledges receipt of check. States that the bill will be promptly attended to. &c. 

| 31 * Harrison, Chas. A. | Chilmark Gay Head. Mass. July 25th 1870. States that he has forwarded receipt. for the $250.00 paid by the Bureau to aid in building School House at Centreville, Md. Inquires if the Supt. can furnish a teacher for Centreville by the first of September. States that the people want the school to open at that time, but are not able to pay a teacher's salary. &c.
