States the Supt. will come and bring with him Prof [[underlined]] Langston. [[/underlined]]  States that he has requested [[underlined]] Marion Garrett [[/underlined]] to meet the Supt. at Mc.Comas Institute on the 6th of June: that they have a temperance meeting on that date &c. &c. &c.

States in reply, that she did not know of the meeting at Mc.Comas Institute until after she wrote last:  that when the trustees at Churchville decide on what day to hold the meeting, Mr. [[underlined]] Mc.Comas [[/underlined]] will make all arrangements &c. &c.

[[underlined]] VanDerlip [[/underlined]] requested her to continue her school during the months of May and June, independent of the Baltimore Association, as they are not able to support teachers:  that the Bureau would pay her $10.00 per month.  Has sent reports but has not received check.

States that [[underlined]] Prof. Westcott [[/underlined]] sends him the names of eight young men whom he wants located as teachers in Maryland.  Inquires if places can be found for them.  Also if rental will be allowed by the Bureau.

6.15.70. | 33 * Missions, Presby. Home.  Rev. Wm. F. Mitchell  Secretary. | New York City.  June 11th 1870.  Requests a list of eight places in Maryland where the people will pay teachers board for three months.

6.15.70. | 34 * McComas, Geo. M. | Baltimore, Md.  June 13th 1870.  States that the meeting at Churchville will be held on the 25th inst.  Hopes the Supt. will be present.  Inquires if it is true that all appropriations for school houses will cease on the 20th inst.:  that he has heard of a house which is nearly completed, in Carroll County, where aid is needed.

6.28.70. | 35 * Mortimere, Miss R.A.  Teacher | Towsontown, Baltimore Co. Md.  June 28th 1870.  States that the trustees have made no effort to raise money to pay her for teaching.  Inquires if the Bureau will not allow her more than $10. per month rental for May and June.
