Brubaker, Capt. J. C.

States that he has made arrangements for the teacher at Sharpsburg:- that the colored people are very anxious to have the school opened, and he is confident that they will fufill their part of the contract. Thinks that the teachers will have no difficulty in finding a boarding-place. 

States that he will have about 30 children in day school and about the same number of adults in night-school. 

States that at Boonsboro there are not a sufficient number of col'd children to open a school 

Thinks that [[underlined]] Aborn [[/underlined]] had better go to Clearspring as he would have a larger school.
