as continual stirring up till they understand and appreciate Education.  I then went to X House.  Mr. Lawton teacher his school seems to be increasing but the old people he says will do nothing and wants me to come and hold a meeting in his school House as soon as the weather gets settled  I then went down to the Tall Pines and found lumber partly on the wharf and part on the ground.  I had a meeting of the people and impressed on their minds the advantages of putting up school House and opening schools at once.  So they came to the conclusion that they will put the House up forthwith, then went to St. Nicholas' school House  Miss Cummings teacher she is getting along tolerably well and her school I think will get on  We had a meeting there and it seemed to cheer the minds of the of the people.
