States that teachers have reported for Shepherdstown and Sharpsburg and Schools have been opened. States that he has a place for a teacher at Frossburg Alleghany Co. if he will come on the same conditions as the one at Sharpsburg.

States that at Hagerstown the colored people are to have a new deed for the lot, and as soon as it is done, will take immediate measures for the erection of a School House.

States that he has not determined whether to ship the bricks from Harpers Ferry or purchase them at Hagerstown.
