Harper's Ferry
April 3" 1868.

Dear Sir:
Teachers from Shepherdstown and Sharpsburg have reported, and schools have been opened.

If you have any more teachers that you can send on the same conditions as the one at Sharpsburg. I have a place for one more at Frossburg, Alleghany Co..

Everything seems to be going well at Hagerstown. The colored people will have a new deed for the lot. and as soon as the matter is fixed will take immediate measures for the erection of the School house. I have not determined as yet whether to ship the brick from here or purchase them at H." transportation is very high.

Respectfully
