The Nottingham school House is partly weatherboarded up and partly shingled, the shingles run short about 10 bundles or more. I am trying to raise the money to send for ten Bundles and get the House shut in and finished. It will be a very good House when finished. The Horse Head school House is up and closed in but I do not like the way it have been put up at all. They did not follow the plan nor instructions given them after framing the House. 12 feet high they then cut off two feet and made the House 10 feet then they set two windows in each side and one in the end and one setting up in the House. They had plenty of sleepers all at the building but took the ceiling joists and put a girder in the middle and put the floor down on them. I will see and fix the House as best I can and let you know all about what I can do as soon as I see the builder, he left Monday and I am on my way to Charles Co Benedict to get a peice of land and also to Trent Hall St Marys Co.
