Dear Sir
 
I drop you these few lines to inform you that since I written to you last I have been in part of A. A. Co, and Calvert and part of saint Mary's and Charles Counties and I am doing all I can to finish up the schools I am getting along with the swamp school in A. A. Co. and expect to get a piece of land near Birds Mill when I get to that place again a verry central and desirable place and I expect also to get the land at Mount Zion where I have been trying so long that will be 3 more in A. A. Co.  I am also trying to get a piece of land at Hall's Creek we have some hope of success there.  I have been in Cobbs Neck near Lancaster's wharf that House will soon finished all but plastering I have been to New Port seening after the school House that was landed fifteen miles below where it is to be built and have got it up the River and part Hawled
