will sell them an acre of land for one hundred dollars the money can be raised if he will let the people have the land.  This Mr Louis Shotts keeps a store on 14th street extended and the colored people say they will take all of his land and if he will not do cut the land the Bureau or some one who can buy it he can make good profits by so doing you see him before you come up and then you can see the people and know what can be done and if Mr Louis Shotts will not sell we think another lot can be purchased with about 37 acres in it  Please write to me and direct to Poolsville in care of John Adams
