States that he has given Capt. Howard an order to bring the material for school-house at Bryantown and also for the one at Mt. Pleasant: that they are hauling the heavy timber &c.: that they are going on with the Benedict and Island Creek houses: that there are many apprentice cases, some of which he has referred to Maj. [[underlined]] VanDerlip [[/underlined]].
