Rev. John Kimball

Dear Sir

I write to inform you that since I written to you last I have visited the following places. To Annapolis to see Maj W. L. VanDerlip, then I went to Plum Point held a meeting there to raise money to buy material to finish the School House and raised about sixty five dollars and intend to Plaster the House at once. I called at Mount Hope and insisted on finishing that House in time to commence the school. I then came to Mount Zion. We expect to push that House foward and have it ready by the time the school commences. And I am now in this County and I had expected to have found lumber for 5 or six Houses sent to different places which have been dissignated. At Damascus they are waiting for lumber and at Oak Hill all the timbers are on the lot and waitting for the lumber.
