Dear Sir
I have been requested by the building Committee of Petersville Colored School House now in process of erection but has been stoped for want of material;  The Freedmans Bureau late under the charge of General Gregory having furnished the Lumber for the building except the seats and Benches and as I understand has been removed to Washington I would respectfully ask you whether there would be a chance of getting any further assistance from the Bureau for the purpose of completing the same. your Kind attention and oblige
