"Lawd" might also be "Lawol" or maybe even "Land." "twe" might be "true" or "time." I think "Lawd" means "the Lord" since Rev. Kimball would be doing God's work, according to this writer, by assisting the freedmen to obtain land. "as that true me" may be "trust me"
