States that a gentleman by name of [[underlined]] Jacob Rapp, [[/underlined]] from Hedgesville, W. Va. has called to see him about an appropriation toward a school-house promised by the Supt. of Education, and Capt. [[underlined]] Brubaker: [[/underlined]]  that he represents the conditions on his part as being fulfilled, and that the house is completed with the exception of the seats, and they are in want of money and teacher.

Requests to be informed what is to be done in this case.

States that the Normal school is in a prosperous condition.
