Rev John Kimball
Dear Sir

I write to inform you that the school House here will soon be ready for a teacher. The workmen are at work seeling around the sides. The House is put up verry substancial and will make a verry good appearance when finished. The sceiling Joist was put in wrong. I am having them taken out and put on the plates where they should be. The workmen had fitted runers in the stadding and put the ceiling Joist too feet below the plates which would spoil the looks of the House and loose two feet.

The lot cost for acre | $150..00
And the heavy timbers and lumber and shingles and work done cost | $195.00
And have Paid on debt | $345.00 247.00
Ballance due on House and lot | $ $.98.00

The people are getting along with the debt on their House verry well and expect to pay all on their House at Chrismas They have a good stove and will be ready about New Year for a teacher

I am your obedient servant
