Birds Mill or Birdsville A. A. Co. Md.
January 4th 1869

Rev John Kimball

Dear Sir
The school House at this place is commenced The men are framing the House and they say that they intend to finish it as soon as posible The workmen think they can finish all their work in about 5 or 6 weeks if the weather be not too cold. And Collins and Boston say the workmen shall not wait for anything so we may expect that House ready by the 1st day of March The acre of land cost fifty dollars and is deeded but the deed is in Annapolis. Mr Collins says that he will get the deed and send you a copy of it in a few days

Verry Respectfully your servant.
