Bay Side School House St. Marys Co. Md.
January 29th 1869

Dear Sir
The people owe on this school House about 40 dollars, but the House is not plastered. Mrs Emeline Sullivan the teacher reported 46 day schollars and 31 in Sunday school. She says that she will send you a copy of the school House deed with her reports.  Mrs Sullivan also says that she would like to get the school at the X Roads for her Daughter who is 20 years old and can give good refferance of her ability to teach. Her name is Miss Amelia M. Sullivan 28 South 4th ST. Camden New Jersey Care of Mr. C. J. Harris who is principal of a school and he will give you satisfaction of the young lady's merits you will please write to Mrs Sullivan and let her know if her daughter can get that school.
