Butler, John H.

States that the teacher here has changed the board of trustees, which has caused trouble. Recommends that they be advised to restore the old board adding to it the names of [[underlined]] George Coates [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] John Rollins, [[/underlined]] making the number seven.

States that [[underlined]] Ellen Parker, [[/underlined]] of Lower Marlboro, Calvert Co. has a son named [[underlined]] Joseph C. Parker, [[/underlined]] who was sold several years ago, and is now in New Orleans with a wife and child; that he wishes transportation for himself and family to join his mother.
