Dear Sir
I drop you these few lines to inform you that there is a great confusion here occasioned by the teacher changing the trustees of the school and the change has done no good whatever but done harm although intended for the better. I would recommend that you order the restoration of the old board with the addition of George Coates and John Rollins to the board then the board will have 7 trustees and about the best men who belong there. Mr Coates owns ninety seven acres of land of which the school house lot is a part. I think this is the best can be done at this time. The school at Mount Hope is doing well.
