Respected Sir,

I feel very desirous of obtaining a situation as teacher in Md. under the control of your Department.  I [[strikethrough]] beleive [[/strikethrough]] believe my-self fully competent to fulfill all the duties of the place, having been of some two years, a student under Dr. E Turney.  I inclose his testimonial or letter, which I hope will prove satisfactory.
