Baltimore July 16th

Rev. John Kimball

Dear Sir

I thought to have met with you at Lenard Town St Mary's County on the 5th inst. We had a good time and a day long to be remembered in that County. I had some fifteen or twenty invitations to different places on the 5th to talk to my people and expect to go soon to some of the other Counties. I cannot say now which way I will go. My son have returned home and wishes to be doing something he wants me to see if he can get the situation in the Bureau you promised me for him as he wants to commence his studies in the University when its sessions commence. Please let me hear from you at your earliest convenience and oblige

Yours Truely
