Maj D S Swaim

Sir. If you have any places vacant in the Schools for Freedmen now under your charge, I would be very happy, to get one as Teacher. I have taught in one of the public Schools of Georgetown D.C. but this year I want very much to come South, and will be ready at any time.

Respectfully
