Buckhannon Upshur County West Va. Nov. 18th 1867.

Mr. John Kimball,

Dear Sir,

The draft for $190 came to hand in due time, which was thankfully Received;

Your of Oct. 9th asking how large a school we would have, I refered it to the Trustees to answer, also in relation to a Teacher; and at that time I have to go to Wheeling, and on my return, the Trustees desired my to answer, giving their decision,

They say there will be from 20 to 25 youths, and they will pay Board fuel & Lights for 4 Months Session, and think a Colored Teacher preferable, if you can furnish a teacher Salary Paid.

Respectfully Your Obt Servt. &c
